Old Folk Tales

I knew an old lady once who found a dying snake on the ground...she picked up the snake and over a course of three years, nursed the snake back to health...At the end of Three years when the snake was well again....it bit the old lady....As she laid dying there, she asked the snake; "How can you bite me, after all this time of me caring for you and loving you"....As the snake slithered away it simply replied " I am snake"...............................The nature of some things cannot be meddled with. It said to not judge, whilst I agree, next time you see your friend-----> ask yourself if they are snake.

There is a balance of give and take between all things. There is a harmony that must be maintained for all things to remain in such sync. When you find yourself in a situation where there is more being taken then given. Cut it out. Whether it be a cancer or a selfish friend...Cut it out of your life. YOUR life is too precious to allow the balance to tip in the favor of those against you. In the same light, however, and in the spirit of the same equilibrium---do not tip the scale of others. Give as much as you receive. Men have earned glory in such ways.

Always remember, not seeing the scale is no excuse for tipping it. A friend should respect the rules of this system even without knowing of its presence. That is the friend you can truly count. That is the friend you can give and give and give and continue to give knowing in full faith that it too, shall be returned....

I've met a couple of snakes in my life time. I have cared for some, knowing that in the end a bite would come.......I just never...EVER thought you'd be a snake too......but then again, I guess that was the point all along.
